Friends of Northern Arizona Forests is very appreciative of financial gifts to help with the purchase of supplies for our outdoor projects, such as fencing building materials, tools, and equipment.
Your gift will be utilized with great prudence and thoughtfulness as our needs vary from project to project. We encourage you to click on "Newsletters" in the websites main banner above and select a few of the more recent newsletters. You'll find a sampling of our work projects where your financial gift may be applied, and you can get a glimpse of how we fulfill our overall mission.
You can direct your gift toward the general fund that supports all our outdoor activities or to support the Lawrence Aspen Protection Fund designated exclusively for aspen tree purposes. The history of the fund is described below:
Lawrence Aspen Protection Fund
Kenneth Lawrence, a resident of Phoenix, had come to love the forests around Flagstaff. When he died in October 2009, his widow, Jennifer Lawrence, asked that donations be made in his memory to FoNAF and that FoNAF use the money to support aspen protection and restoration. In the years since 2009, the fund has provided thousands of dollars to purchase supplies for repairing fences and for building new ones.
